This needle felted Bunny Rabbit is one-of-a-kind and was needle felted using wool roving. He is a white with grey ears, arms, and legs, small dark eyes, a fluffy white tail, and holds a large multi-colored felted Easter egg. He would make the perfect addition to your Easter decorations, or unique gift for someone special. Either way, this bunny is sure to make you smile!

To the top of his head, he measures about 7.5". Including his ears makes his height 11 1/2".

This bunny began with a nylon knee high stuffed with alpaca fiber, then wrapped with roving. Different techniques are used for adding arms, legs, ears, tail, and facial features. The entire process involves a number of hours and lots of poking with a felting needle to shape and create the finished piece, kind of like sculpting, but with fiber rather than clay. Each felted piece is a labor of love.

Needle felting is the process of using a single barbed needle to repeatedly jab alpaca/wool fibers causing the fiber to tangle and become compact in order to create a two-dimensional flat piece or three-dimensional sculpture.
