This thick and thin, bulky art yarn was hand spun from uncarded locks of Suri Alpaca and Mohair. The charcoal fiber is a natural color. Other colors were hand dyed using Gaywool dyes. It is plied with a gold Cotton crochet thread and has fluffy tuffs of fiber and wispy curls of fiber protruding. It has a lovely feel, is very soft, and fun to work with on some very large needles or crochet hook. This unique yarn can be knit, crocheted, or woven. The skein can also be untwisted and worn as is!
This type of art yarn would make make a very unique hat, headband, scarf, cowl, or even a small purse. It can be used as embellishment with other yarn. Hand spun art yarn also makes a very unique gift for a fiber friend!
