Join us for our Fall Farm Days on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 from 12pm-4pm. Savor a beautiful Fall day in the country, relax, and enjoy the peacefulness of our alpacas, the antics of our Angora goats, and the playfulness of our Angora rabbits. Learn about the many steps of fiber production on a small fiber farm scale, from shearing the alpaca to the process involved in making finished alpaca products. Enjoy shopping in our Farm Store and see all the different products in which alpaca fiber is used, perhaps even do some early Christmas shopping!
Sweet Bubbles & Bean will be with us on Sunday with coffee, cold brew, bubble tea and lemonade, sure to refresh and taste wonderful!
Choose dessert when you finish lunch, and something to take home from Tammy at Tae’s Bakery!
Been wanting to learn to spin your own yarn? Or just fascinated in how alpaca fiber gets turned into yarn? Come see Waunita and Marty demonstrate the ancient art of spinning yarn! Are you a spinner? Bring your wheel along and spin with the girls! Pick up a Drop Spindle Kit to try spinning yarn yourself, or if you’re really serious about spinning, find out about more about the Spinning Wheels we carry. We offer free spinning lessons with the purchase of a spinning wheel from Alpaca Meadows, that is if you live close enough. If you’re interested in processing Alpaca Fiber yourself, take a look at the selection of Drum Carders and Hand Cards and Combs.

Get your hands on some Alpaca Yarn to knit/crochet/weave something special! Many are interested in the yarn spun from the fiber of our own alpacas, so check out Alpaca Meadows Farm Yarn when you visit (or shop our website).
Watch pumpkin needle felting demonstrations throughout the weekend and see how easy it is to sculpt fiber with a barbed needle. Lots of DIY Felting Kits in stock so you can try this fun craft yourself! Pumpkin Needle Felting Kits are available to purchase, complete with detailed instructions and lots of pictures. Learn better in a class? Register for one of our Fall/Winter Classes … see the schedule here

Shop in our Farm Store for something soft and warm made from alpaca … choose from socks, hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, blankets, and more!
The Richland County Junior Fair Alpacas Club will be on hand to answer questions about Getting Your Children Involved in 4-H and doing alpacas as a project, even if you don’t own alpacas!
