SORRY, BUT THIS CLASS IS FULL. The next needle felting class will be the Bear Needle Felting Class on February 8th, 2020

Create your very own Christmas Mouse in this fun-filled class through a process called needle felting. You will learn step-by-step needle felting skills which will enable you to create other felted projects. You will learn how to wrap and felt roving around a core, and how to use a felting stick to create three dimensional body parts. Your Christmas mouse can be personalized however you wish, and chances are each person's creation will turn out differently, each with it's own personality. Great gift or Christmas decoration for your own home!

Needle felting is the process of using a barbed needle to repeatedly jab natural fibers causing the fiber to tangle and become compact into flat pieces or three-dimensional sculptures.

All materials are included, felting tools and foam surface to work on are provided for use in class. Felting Supplies are also available to purchase should you want to do more needle felting at home.

Though not difficult, there is more work involved in a project such as this that has many parts to make such as ears, nose, arms, legs, ears, tail, and accessories. If just learning to needle felt, you may want to choose a class with a simpler project and less parts to make.

Class participants must be 16 or older, but kids 12-15 may register with an adult companion also enrolled in the class.

Time Needed: 3 1/2 Hours
