Most recently, he added another Get of Sire at the Empire Alpaca Extravaganza 2006. Lafite's male offspring are highly sought after and very few are available. Prices have reflected the quality of these superior males. Even the half Accoyo males have sold for up to $70,000. Baron Lafite represents what can be achieved in nine years of breeding experience with full Accoyo Peruvian Suris in North America. Ben and Lynda Fisco traveled from California to New Jersey looking for the most perfect, next generation Accoyo, to breed with Ramilo's offspring. They looked at almost twenty full Accoyo males before making their selection. Lafite's fleece and conformation are unsurpassed. He has such tight locks to the skin that we must say they are not locks but rather coiled corkscrews. One of the top suri judges in the world commented, "I have never seen fleece like Lafite's except at the Accoyo farm in Peru." Lafite is no longer available for breeding due to his death on March 27, 2007. This has placed an even greater demand for the purchase of his progeny.
