This September, we would like to invite you to our farm to enjoy a beautiful Fall day in the country.  Alpaca Meadows is family owned and operated.  We like to think that a visit to our farm is a special experience of getting to meet and enjoy the antics of our alpacas, see and learn to appreciate the many steps of fiber production on a small farm scale, and then enjoy shopping for lovely items made from the luxurious fiber of alpacas.  We look forward to sharing our farm with you!

The Richland County Junior Fair Alpacas Club will be on hand to answer questions about Getting Your Children Involved in 4-H and doing alpacas as a project, even if you don’t own alpacas!

Been wanting to learn to spin your own yarn?  Or just fascinated in how alpaca fiber gets turned into yarn?  Come see Waunita and Marty demonstrate the ancient art of spinning.  Maybe you’ll be so inspired, you’ll want to pick up a Drop Spindle Kit and try it yourself?  Or maybe you are ready for a wheel?  We are dealers for the Louet line of spinning wheels, take a look here.

Interesting in learning to needle felt?  There will be demonstrations going on throughout the weekend.

 Pumpkin Faces Needle Felting Class

Or come for the Pumpkin Needle Felting Class on September 30th, and go home with a finished pumpkin for your Fall decorating!  Even more fun is the Pumpkin Faces Needle Felting Class on October 28th … get a group of friends together for lots of laughs!

Have a sweet tooth?  Tae’s Bakery will be joining us with freshly baked goodies!
